Wish I'd thought to write this:

I Pledge Allegiance
to the wall
separating Church and State
in America,
and to the Constitution
upon which it stands,
on notion,
about God
indisputable,
that we have the liberty 
not to have to pledge
to God
at all.

Yeah, I know all of the furor over that has died down, but it is still a darned good idea.
